PRAYER CHAIN DAY
September 26th, 2020
Front Lawn of Flint City Hall
Saginaw Street, Downtown Flint
THE CHURCH @ FLINT WILL UNITE
TO LEAD THE WAY TO REVIVAL
Flint's Fourteenth Annual Prayer Chain Day is your opportunity to join with the Saints from across our great city in unified prayer and supplication for our city. This ecumenical event is for ALL Christian denominations and is meant to be INCLUSIVE. Starting with the Rally at noon on the front lawn of City Hall, then transitioning to prayer locations of your choice for the afternoon, and ending with an optional Testimonial Fellowship at 4pm, the day is meant to have meaning on an individual, congregational, and ecumenical level.
The Fourteenth Annual Adopt-A-Street on Prayer Chain Day 2019 will be held on Saturday, September 26th, 2020 (Yom Kippur - the Day of Atonement). The event will coordinate the 'covering' of Flint in prayer by assembling praying bodies (ministry groups) all across town. The event will begin at noon at City Hall on Saginaw between 7th and 5th with group prayer and praise. At approximately 1:30 the teams will disperse from downtown to their designated locations city-wide. The Prayer Chain will address such issues as the economic woes of our city, unemployment, crime, substance abuse, sickness and other demonic influences. It is hoped that the unified Church at Flint will have a profound affect on the city and its people and bring revival and reconciliation to our great city.
We're very honored to have such a high powered set of speakers at this year's rally event.
John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
