The Eighth Annual Adopt-A-Street on Prayer Chain Day 2014 will be held on Saturday, October 4th, 2014 (Yom Kippur - the Day of Atonement). The event will coordinate the 'covering' of Flint in prayer by assembling praying bodies (ministry groups) all across town. The event will begin at noon at City Hall on Saginaw between 7th and 5th with group prayer and praise. At approximately 1:30 the teams will disperse from downtown to their designated locations city-wide. The Prayer Chain will address such issues as the economic woes of our city, unemployment, crime, substance abuse, sickness and other demonic influences.
It is hoped that the unified Church at Flint will have a profound affect on the city and its people and bring revival and reconciliation to our great city.
